Maple-Dipped Oven-Fried Chicken
Fried chicken oven-baked with a maple glaze.

spicy brown mustard (split)

conflakes cereal (finely crushed)

butter or margarine (melted)

Directions
Preheat oven to 400F. Spray large baking sheet with cooking spray. Cut chicken into 10 pieces and remove the skin; rinse and pat dry with paper towels; sprinkle with flavor enhancer. In large bowl, mix syrup, mustard and garlic. Roll chicken pieces in syrup mixture to coat thickly; dredge in crumbs, pressing firmly. Place chicken pieces on baking sheet; sprinkle with any remaining crumbs. Drizzle with melted butter. Bake 45 to 50 minutes until tender, covering loosely with foil if chicken is over-browning.
